Description
Good understanding of Software development life cycle and testing methodologies
with good problem solving skills.
Experience in working with Agile / scrum methodology process and test
management tool like JIRA
Identify & design new test cases on a continuous basis and program them
Writing test plans and creating test cases.
Preparation for the execution of the tests incl. Test scripts/Business processes/System
set up
Test data setup for both positive and negative test cases before execution of the tests
Execution of the tests that have been planned in line with the relevant processes that
have been defined
Preparation of test reports and submitting
Sign off on the quality of the component owned
Working closely with development team & taking initiatives to continuously improve
knowledge of products / functionalities in the project
Follow the basic processes defined relevant for the work domain
Deep knowledge on best practices regarding system security measures and verify it
during testing process
Ability to troubleshoot and highlight the real issue to development team
Adhere to schedules, processes, and standards for Testing.
Knowledge on Automation tools like Selenium / TestNG / Cucumber will be a plus.
